Players can purchase Pack Animals from a Stablemaster NPC to assist with carrying items. These creatures function as mobile storage units and allow players to transport large amounts of loot or resources.

To access a Pack Animal’s inventory, players can simply double-click on the Pack Animal, which will open its backpack. Unlike standard pets, Pack Animals that have been released by their controller can be attacked by monsters, making them vulnerable in dangerous areas.

Pack Horses and Pack Llamas cannot enter Dungeons or IP-Restricted Regions, such as Undermountain or Urukton Bluffs. If a player attempts to enter one of these restricted areas using entrances, moongates, or Recall, any Pack Animals following them will remain at their current location, and the player will receive a notification informing them of this.

The only exception to these restrictions is Omni Boss Lair regions, where players are explicitly allowed to bring Pack Animals inside.
