The Disarm ability allows players skilled in weapon combat to attempt to forcefully unequip their opponent's weapon, creating an offensive opportunity. Disarm can be used in both PvM and PvP, with slightly different effects.
Requirements
To attempt a disarm:
Activation and Cooldowns
- Activate Disarm mode using the command `[Disarm` or via a Razor/Assistant hotkey assigned to the "Disarm" special move toggle.
- The command `[DisarmUntoggleMode` can customize whether the mode automatically turns off after an attempt.
- When active, your next successful melee or ranged attack will attempt the disarm.
Cooldowns:
- Successful Disarm: If you successfully disarm a target, you cannot attempt another disarm on any target for 30 seconds.
- Missed Attack: If you miss an attack while Disarm mode is active, you cannot attempt another disarm for 15 seconds. The mode typically stays active to retry after the cooldown unless configured otherwise.
- Target Immunity: Once a target (player or creature) has been successfully disarmed, they cannot be disarmed again for 30 seconds.
Effects on Players (PvP)
- A successful Disarm forces the opponent's equipped weapon into their backpack.
- The disarmed weapon is temporarily locked in the backpack for 5 seconds. During this time, it cannot be moved, equipped, dropped, or stolen (even by the owner).
- The disarmed player is also prevented from equipping any new weapon for these 5 seconds.
Effects on Creatures (PvM)
Successfully disarming a creature applies a debuff that provides combat bonuses to the attacker and their controlled followers against that specific creature.
- Duration: The Disarm debuff lasts for 15 seconds on the creature.
- Bonuses Granted (scaling with Attacker's Arms Lore):
- Melee Damage Bonus (Player): ` + (25% * (Arms Lore / 100)) `
- Melee Damage Bonus (Followers): ` + (10% * (Arms Lore / 100)) `
- Accuracy Bonus (Player): ` + (25% * (Arms Lore / 100)) ` (Subject to Overcapping)
- Accuracy Bonus (Followers): ` + (10% * (Arms Lore / 100)) `
These bonuses only apply to the player who landed the disarm and their pets/summons attacking the disarmed creature.
