The Craftsman's Toolbox is a utility item introduced in the Outlands Patch April 2, 2025 that allows players to consolidate the Uses Remaining on stacks of similar tools and items within their backpack, helping to save container space.

Acquisition

Players can purchase a Craftsman's Toolbox deed from the Prevalian Merchant under the "Misc" category.

Usage

  • A Craftsman's Toolbox must be Locked Down or Secured within a player's House, or kept within their Bank Box to be functional.
  • Unlike storage containers, any player can double-click a secured Craftsman's Toolbox to use its consolidation function on items in their own backpack.

Consolidation Mechanic

How it Works

  • Double-clicking the toolbox attempts to consolidate charges for all supported items currently in the user's backpack.
  • Items are grouped based on type (e.g., all Tinkering Tools together, all Lockpicks together).
  • Within a type, items can only be consolidated if they share the exact same:
    • Material (Color/Resource Type)
    • Quality (Regular or Exceptional)
    • Mastercrafted Status
  • The toolbox will maximize the "Uses Remaining" on the fewest possible number of items within each matching group.
  • Any items reduced to 0 Uses Remaining during consolidation are automatically deleted.

Supported Items

The following item types can have their uses consolidated:
