Melloweed plants can be grown like any other plant using a '''Plant Bowl'''. Once planted, each Melloweed plant will adopt a '''randomized rare hue'''. Players can check the hue of their Melloweed plants by opening the '''Plants Menu''', where the specific '''Hue Number''' will be displayed below the preview of the plant.

When a Melloweed plant reaches full growth, harvesting it will yield '''Melloweed Leaves''', which will retain the same hue as the fully grown plant. Players can also '''single-click''' Melloweed Leaves to view their specific hue.

Melloweed is a rare plant that players can grow and craft into a variety of decorative and equippable items. These items are purely for entertainment purposes and provide no functional benefits in gameplay.

To create Melloweed items, players must first grow Melloweed Seed into Melloweed Leaves. Melloweed Seeds can be found as loot while completing Resource Maps (including Ore Maps, Lumber Maps, Skinning Maps, and Fishing Maps) and can also be obtained from Trade Caravans.

Additionally, Dungeon Melloweed can now be encountered as loot in various locations, including Ocean, Wilderness, and Netherzone areas.

Melloweed Hues

Melloweed Leaves can grow in a variety of special hues, making each plant visually unique. The following are some of the rare Melloweed hues:

Special Melloweed Leaves

Shimmer Nightfall

Shimmer Gala

Shimmer Dahlia

Shimmer Solstice

Growing Melloweed

Melloweed plants can be grown like any other plant using a Plant Bowl. Once planted, each Melloweed plant will adopt a randomized rare hue. Players can check the hue of their Melloweed plants by opening the Plants Menu, where the specific Hue Number will be displayed below the preview of the plant.

When a Melloweed plant reaches full growth, harvesting it will yield Melloweed Leaves, which will retain the same hue as the fully grown plant. Players can also single-click Melloweed Leaves to view their specific hue.

Equippable Smoking Items

Players can craft three different equippable Smoking items, which serve as cosmetic roleplay tools. These items are Blessed and can be equipped in the player’s paperdoll.

  • Players can craft Small Smoking Pipes and Large Smoking Pipes using the Carpentry skill.
  • Players can craft Melloweed Cigarettes using the Tailoring skill.
  • Smoking items start with 0 charges and must be filled using Melloweed Leaves.

To fill a Smoking item with charges:

  • Double-click Melloweed Leaves and target the Smoking item. Each use consumes the leaves and adds 25 charges to the item.
  • The Smoking item will adopt the hue of the leaves used, and the resulting smoke graphics (when activated) will display in that same hue.
  • If a Smoking item already has charges, players can only add more if the new leaves match the current hue of the item.

To use a Smoking item:

  • Equip it in the paperdoll and double-click to activate it.
  • Activation plays an in-game sound and animation while consuming 1 charge.
  • When a Smoking item reaches 0 charges, it will lose its hue and must be refilled with more Melloweed Leaves.

Water Pipe

Players can also craft an animated Water Pipe using the Blacksmithy skill. Unlike equippable Smoking items, Water Pipes must be locked down in a house before they can be used.

Water Pipes function similarly to equippable Smoking items:

  • They start with 0 charges and must be filled using Melloweed Leaves.
  • Players can double-click Melloweed Leaves and target the Water Pipe to add 25 charges.
  • The Water Pipe will adopt the hue of the leaves used, and its smoke graphics will match that hue.
  • If a Water Pipe already has charges, players can only add more if the new leaves match the existing hue.

To use a Water Pipe:

  • It must be locked down inside a house.
  • Players can double-click the Water Pipe to activate it, triggering an in-game sound and animation while consuming 1 charge.
  • When a Water Pipe reaches 0 charges, it will lose its hue and must be refilled before use.
