Mini Bosses are powerful creatures with 100,000 Hit Points, which can increase through scaling mechanics based on player engagement. They are a significant challenge for adventurers, featuring unique combat mechanics that make them more difficult than standard dungeon creatures.

Mini Bosses have several unique properties:

  • They Autodispel every 8 seconds, preventing excessive use of summoned creatures.
  • They can only be Barded once every 90 seconds.
  • They cannot be tracked in dungeons, although players can still receive Tracking Damage and Barding Bonuses against them.

Mini Bosses naturally respawn between 12 to 24 hours. However, players can also summon them using the [dungeons gump or through the Dungeons tab in the [guild gump.

Combat Mechanics

  • Mini Bosses are highly resistant to crowd control effects and cannot be easily influenced by player abilities.
  • Their periodic Autodispel every 8 seconds ensures that summoned creatures cannot be relied upon for prolonged battles.
  • Players must coordinate effectively, as Barding effects can only be applied once every 90 seconds.

Boss Results System

Mini Boss battles are tracked using the Boss Results system. This system records damage contributions and ranks players based on their performance.

Damage Entries Expiration

Mini Boss encounters follow a Damage Entries Expiration Duration of 60 minutes. If a player does not continue dealing damage within this timeframe, their progress will reset. This affects:

  • Looting rights
  • Aspect XP
  • Achievements
  • Society progress

Players must remain actively engaged to maintain their contribution toward the boss fight and ensure eligibility for rewards.
